I have a TRU-TEST ( DELUXE ) lawn tractor, manufactured by RUGG, Model No. 6782TXE, color is orange, all plastic body, tilt steering. I would like to know what year it is and anything else anyone might know about this tractor.

Answers:

Your mower is a 1972 model....the last year for a rider by the E.T. Rugg company. They produced a few push type mowers in 1973, then closed the doors FOREVER.

I have a 1967-1973 Rugg Service Manual that has a parts exploded view of your mower. I would be more than glad to help any Rugg owner with manuals or parts.
